Shivaratri "Night of Lord Shiva" which fall in the month of March. This festival is especially celebrated by Hindus around the world. On this day "PashupatiNath" the holy temple of Nepal is worshiped which is located in Nepal. PashupatiNath is considered as the main place to worship on this day. Hundred and thousand of people come to praise God Shiv, meditation, and smoke Marijuana on this very day. In Kathmandu "Sadhu" who devoted their life praising god,meditation and worshiping come from India to praise Lord "Shiva".
On this day, Marijuana is considered as secret gift and blessing of god. Sadhu "who devoted their lives in the name of god mention that Marijuana is a diet for them to concentrate on God. It is believed that lord Shiva use to eat the leaves of Marijuana plant.
The People honor God by smoking Marijuana on this day. A true follower of Shiva especially "Sadhu" including other people from Hindu consume it, believing that its the blessing and gift from God.
Smoking Marijuana is illegal in Nepal and if somebody found with Marijuana is fined and imprisoned for more than a month. But On this day smoking, Marijuana is legalized for religious reason and anybody can smoke Marijuana. Not only sadhu "Marijuana is smoked by all work of lives on this day.
So, Hindus people enjoy this day by dancing ,singing,worshiping and fasting. It's a very important day for people to get blessing by lord Shiva . Not by smoking Marijuana people enjoy their night by burning fire and dancing and singing around too.
